Andrews Named President at Cardinal Capital

RALEIGH, NC—Glenn C. Andrews, CFA has been elected president of Cardinal Capital Management, Inc., an independent SEC-registered investment advisory firm headquartered in Raleigh.

Andrews, co-owner of Cardinal Capital Management since 2004, will assume operational oversight at the firm while continuing his current duties of investment research and portfolio management. He had served as executive vice president.

Joel Millikan, who founded Cardinal Capital Management, Inc. nearly 15 years ago, serves as chairman of Cardinal and will retain his duties as chief investment officer. Millikan has more than 40 years of experience in equity and fixed income security analysis.

Andrews has more than 30 years of financial management and investment experience, including 11 years at Burroughs-Wellcome Co. where he served as corporate officer and treasurer. As treasurer, Andrews oversaw more than $1 billion in investments.

Andrews also served as executive vice president and chief financial officer at Medco Research, Inc. (MRE, NYSE) where he listed MRE on the New York Stock Exchange and negotiated the merger with King Pharmaceuticals.

“Our company is pleased to name Glenn as our president,” noted Millikan. He added, “His presence over the last two years has strengthened the firm in many ways and his contribution will continue to grow.”

Andrews, holds BS and MBA degrees from the University of Tennessee and completed the London Business School’s executive management program. He is a member of the CFA Institute and a past president of the North Carolina Society of Financial Analysts.
