Joel A. Millikan, CFA

Advisor Board Member

Joel advises Cardinal Capital on policy issues pertaining to investment methodology and portfolio management. Previously, Joel served as Co-Chief Investment Officer at Cardinal Capital. Prior to founding Cardinal Capital in 1992, Joel served as senior vice president and chief investment officer of Durham Life Insurance Company and as research director of Travelers Investment Management Co. in Hartford, CT. Joel is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a member of the CFA Institute, the North Carolina CFA Society and past president of both the North Carolina and Hartford CFA Societies. In the community Joel is on the advisory board of the Haiti Reforestation Project and is an elder in the Presbyterian Church (USA). Joel is active in Oberlin College alumni affairs and earned an MBA from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
